2026 SIEAF 플라워 퍼레이드

황화 코스모스가 펼쳐진 섬진강 동화정원을 거대한 열린 무대로 전환하여 예술가, 주민, 동호회, 관광객이 함께 만들어가는 참여형 퍼레이드이다.

정해진 공연을 관람하는 구조에서 벗어나 현장에 모인 사람들이 직접 움직이고 걷고 꾸미며 축제의 장면을 공동으로 완성한다.

사전 소품 제작 워크숍과 원데이 클래스는 주민과 참여자들이 퍼레이드의 단순 참가자가 아니라 시각적 이미지와 움직임을 만들어내는 공동 창작자로 참여하도록 기획되었다. 꽃, 사람, 의상, 움직임이 하나의 풍경으로 결합되면서 동화정원의 생태적 경관 자체가 퍼레이드의 미학적 요소가 된다.

〈플라워 퍼레이드〉는 곡성의 생태 관광자원과 주민 참여형 예술을 결합함으로써, 지역 공동체의 문화적 주체성을 강화하고 예술과 관광이 공존하는 새로운 방식의 지역축제 모델을 제시한다.

A participatory parade that transforms Seomjingang Donghwa Garden, filled with fields of yellow cosmos, into a vast open stage where artists, local residents, community groups, and visitors create the festival together.

Moving beyond the conventional structure of simply watching a scheduled performance, people gathered on site become part of the event themselves—moving, walking, decorating, and collectively completing the festival scene.

Pre-parade prop-making workshops and one-day classes are designed to encourage residents and participants to take part not simply as parade participants, but as co-creators who shape its visual imagery and movement. As flowers, people, costumes, and movement merge into a single landscape, the ecological scenery of Donghwa Garden itself becomes an aesthetic element of the parade.

Flower Parade brings together Gokseong’s ecological tourism resources and community-based participatory art, strengthening the cultural agency of the local community while proposing a new model for a regional festival in which art and tourism coexist.
