라이브 아트-기록과 기억의 미학
2025 SIEAF의 사진, 영상, 포스터, 리플렛, 공연 소품 등 축제의 기록을 통해 일시적으로 사라지는 공연예술의 시간을 다시 현재로 불러오는 아카이브 전시 프로젝트이다.
전시는 기록물을 단순히 보존하거나 나열하는 방식에서 벗어나 섬진강의 모래와 돌, 농기계와 농업 부산물 등 곡성의 자연과 농촌을 상징하는 오브제를 전시 구성에 적극적으로 활용한다. 이를 통해 축제의 기억과 지역의 물질적 환경이 하나의 전시 서사 안에서 만난다.
아카이브는 과거를 보존하는 공간인 동시에 다음 축제를 준비하는 출발점이다. 2025년의 경험을 지역의 문화적 기억으로 축적하고 2026 SIEAF의 주요 프로그램과 철학을 함께 소개함으로써, 축제의 시간적 연속성과 지역 문화자산으로서의 가치를 확장한다.
An archive exhibition project that brings the fleeting moments of performance art back into the present through the records of 2025 SIEAF—photographs, videos, posters, leaflets, performance props, and other festival materials.
Moving beyond the simple preservation or display of archival materials, the exhibition actively incorporates objects that evoke the natural and rural landscape of Gokseong, including sand and stones from the Seomjingang River, agricultural machinery, and farming by-products. Through these elements, the memories of the festival and the material environment of the region come together within a single exhibition narrative.
The archive is not only a space for preserving the past, but also a point of departure for the festival to come.
By carrying the experiences of 2025 forward as part of the region’s cultural memory, while introducing the key programs and philosophy of 2026 SIEAF, the exhibition extends the festival’s continuity across time and strengthens its value as a cultural asset of the region.
